Custom printed and dyed napkins
Cocktail, dinner and dispenser napkins printed with your logo, or dyed to your colour. Printed in-house on digital and flexo presses, so a branded test order does not have to become a container.

Where these napkins go
Restaurants, bars and cafés that put a logo on the table. Hotels and clubs that want the napkin to match the room. Caterers and event suppliers who reorder in rhythm with the season. Distributors and importers who need a printed napkin line they can sell on to hospitality accounts.
What we can change
- Size and fold: cocktail, dinner, dispenser, or a size you already sell
- Colour: dyed base plus printed artwork, or print on white
- Artwork: we check resolution, trapping and colour count before the plate or file goes to press
- Pack: poly bag count, carton count, your artwork on the bag
- Barcode and shipping marks printed to your retail or warehouse requirement
Why print in-house matters
Most sellers of printed napkins buy the napkin converting and outsource the printing. That adds a week to the lead time and removes the person who can answer "will this artwork hold on 18 gsm?". In our plant the press, the folding line and the packing line are all ours, so a proof problem is fixed in a shift instead of a month.
Sizes and folds we run
Most printed programs come down to three formats. If you already sell one of them, send the pack you use today and we measure it rather than argue about millimetres.
| Format | Open size (typical) | Folded | Where it sells |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cocktail / beverage | 250 × 250 mm | 1/4 fold, 125 × 125 mm | Bars, cafés, catering, tasting rooms |
| Dinner | 400 × 400 mm | 1/8 fold, 200 × 100 mm | Restaurants, hotels, banquets |
| Dispenser | 300 × 330 mm | Interfold, one at a time | Fast food, canteens, high covers |
| Custom | to your die line | to your fold | Where the napkin is part of the table design |
Artwork rules that save you a reprint
- Vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF) with fonts outlined. A 72 dpi PNG off a phone will print as a soft logo on a textured sheet.
- Check the fold before you approve: a logo centred on the flat sheet lands off-centre once it is folded. We show you the fold line on the proof.
- Thin white lines, gradients and 4-point text do not survive tissue. On 18 gsm, print holds bold shapes and flat colour best.
- Tell us the background colour. Your artwork sits on a white or dyed sheet, and a dye that runs dark changes how the ink reads.
- Send the barcode as a number, not as a picture — we generate it at print quality.
Five mistakes that cost buyers money
- Approving artwork on screen only. Screens are brighter than tissue; a proof on the real sheet is the only proof that counts.
- Mixing dye shades across reorders. Dye take-up drifts between runs. Keep a physical sample of the approved colour and send it with every repeat order.
- Printing a size you have not tested in service. A 1/4-fold napkin that looks generous in a brochure can be one fold too small in a guest’s hand.
- Packing to the wrong count. Thirty napkins per bag instead of twenty-five is a pricing error that follows you through the whole container.
- Leaving the carton to the last minute. The carton is the part the distributor sees first at the warehouse, and the part that decides the pallet.
Sampling, approvals and repeats
A printed order runs in this order: artwork check, print proof, your sign-off, press, folding and packing, inspection, loading. Nothing goes to press before the sign-off, and nothing leaves before the inspection. 7–10 days for standard items after deposit and pack confirmation; 20–25 days for custom printing, counted from deposit and approved artwork.
For repeat orders we keep your approved artwork and the print record, so a second run starts from a known point instead of a new file. From 200 bags, digital print included.

Questions buyers ask about printed & dyed napkins
What is the smallest printed order you will run?
The minimum for printed napkins is small because digital printing makes short runs economic: From 200 bags, digital print included. Send the size, the number of colours and the quantity you have in mind, and you will get a straight answer on whether your run fits.
How long does a printed order take?
Standard and printed work run on different schedules. 7–10 days for standard items after deposit and pack confirmation; 20–25 days for custom printing, counted from deposit and approved artwork.
Can you match a Pantone colour on a dyed napkin?
We match to a Pantone reference or a physical sample you send. Send the reference and we confirm how close the match will be on the paper we run for your order, because dye take-up changes with the sheet.
Do I get a proof before printing?
Yes. Printed work is proofed — artwork file, colour count and a physical or digital proof depending on the run — before the press is booked. Nothing prints until you have confirmed it.
Can you print on both sides of the napkin?
Yes, where the fold and the ply allow it. Tell us what goes on each side and we confirm the layout on your size before quoting.
Tell us the item, the pack and the port
That is enough for a quotation with a real lead time. If you only have half the specification, send half.
